IDSA Chair Hack

1 day chair hack at Piedmont Park in Atlanta, Georgia sponsored by MODA (Museum of Design Atlanta) and the Atlanta chapter of IDSA (Industrial Designers Society of America).

Provided with one Ikea Latte (children's table set) and challenged to transform the pieces into a product that promotes outdoor play in 4 hours, using only hand tools, and no more than $50 USD in extra materials.

The Design

Not your ordinary rope swing - it's a transformer. The seat can be connected for one child to use, standing or sitting, or disconnected for two children to use - with added bars to hold while swinging.
