Exploratory: Mobile Application using Beacon Technology
Exploring the use of applying beacon technology and visual cues to solve a problem for anyone who's ever been lost in a crowd at night. In progress - still playing with the purpose of the concept, the business value, potential patentable areas, and refined use cases. Not enough here yet - have any ideas to make it better? Current use case: Using matching light beams to find friends in a crowd at night.
Sketches:
How can I design a simple interface where someone could:
1. Find a contact
2. Select a light color (optional)
3. Send a signal to a contact
Considering button and UI placement to be ideally used by only one hand while holding the phone.
Prototyping potential flow:
Interactive prototype
1. Select app logo (sun)
2. Select search bar to search contacts
3. Select contact Helena
4. Select Send to send light beam to Helena
5. Select X to close light
6. Select friends icon (top right) for a shortcut
7. Select friend Allison
